My stomach was still bothering me a bit yesterday like I had mentioned so breakfast was pretty “bland.” I had two of my coconut almond oatmeal breakfast squares with a strawberry vanilla yogurt. Yogurt helps to relieve some of my stomach acid and it’s my form of Pepto Bismol. Taste much better to me anyway.
Lunch was a pizza made out of the gluten-free Bisquick, since I wanted something bready. I actually pre-made this a couple of days ago, wrapped it up and stuck it into the freezer. I make my own frozen meals now since it’s hard to find foods that are okay with all my food allergies. I was off to work after this yummy lunch.
I felt much better by dinner and decided to make some Yoki cheese bread which is a Brazilian bread made out of cheese and tapioca starch. You’re suppose to roll them into little balls but I made them into “bread sticks” to have them with pasta.
I had DeBoles rice pasta with broccoli, ground meat and some tomato and basil pasta sauce. Delish!
I made my chocolate protein dessert cake for dessert. It’s so good and 1/4 of this cake was only 90 calories and 2 grams of fiber!
You see…you can have your cake and eat it too!
