Yesterday I did not want to wake up for school, but with only 3 more classes left, I don’t really have a choice. Class wasn’t so bad but the last hour kills me. I just can’t focus. I mean come on. I’m in that class from 8:30pm – 2:30pm with a 30 minute lunch break.
Okay, enough complaining. How did I release tension? Go for a sprint in the woods at the beach of course! I did my same sprinting workout from Thursday except this time I added a 6th repetition. It felt much easier and this morning my legs feel less sore than they did the past couple of days. It’s so true that you have to be consistent with your exercise in order to let your muscles get use to what you are doing to them. [Note: Awesome looking fallen tree along trail]After my sprint, my dad asked me if I wanted to go to the casino with him. More tension release? Heck yes! I’m all about the penny machines and I just love the sounds of the machines. For me? It’s like video games for adults (bonus points for possible money making). My favorite machine is Super Jackpot Party. I get super hyped with I get to the bonus round. But it was not my lucky day with it. I only got to the bonus round once and that lasted a second because the first bonus box I opened was a party pooper (aka end of bonus round). However, the lack of bonus round was ignored because I got lucky a few days ago. To complete my life, my mom got me a yoga block! Gah, I was super excited because my arms are just too short for some of the balancing poses and a block would really help. My yoga kit in now 100% complete; mat, mat bag, water bottle and yoga block. And remember I was talking about the Philadelphia milk and dark chocolate cream cheese spread from Target? She got me the dark chocolate one! [Begin drooling now]I ate it straight from the container and it tasted just like my triple chocolate cheesecake minus the chips. Oh man, I can’t wait to do something with this bad boy.Isn’t she just the greatest? I already know what to get her for Mother’s Day or rather do. It’s going to be simple but I know when it comes to my mom, it’s the little things that count.
Later today, my mom and I are going to see Cinderella in ballet form and I can’t wait! It’s going to be performed by the Moscow Festival Ballet. The last time I was at a ballet I was in elementary school and I don’t even remember one bit.
Question: How have you been spending your weekend?
It has been a fabulous weekend for me. It’s well needed because pretty soon I am going to have finals. In case you didn’t know that = STRESS!
