It’s the end of another the week. Or for some, it may be considered the beginning. June is just flying by so fast, I can’t believe it’s the 10th! Any who, I wanted to take the time to point out I’ve been doing a lot of “weekly” type posts. Just to catch you up to speed, let me remind you what the posts are:
- On Mondays I do meal planning or grocery shopping posts to show you my eats for the week. Check out the last Monday Meal Planning here!
- On Wednesdays, it’s What I Ate Wednesday brought to you by Peas and Crayons. Missed last Wednesday WIAW? Check it out here!
- On Fridays I do Fun Finds Friday any well, fun finds from the week. Could be snacks, books, anything! Check out FFF#1 and FFF#2.
Now for Sundays I am going to be doing a “Sunday Wrap Up.” You may be wondering, what the bananas is that going to be about? Well any interesting activities, sights or happenings will be presented to you on Sunday. There are many random things that happen to me all the time and why not have a day to just ramble about them?
Like on Saturday when Mr. Basil (Yes, I name my plants. Don’t judge me) had it’s first little leaves. I was so happy because let me tell you, I am horrible at taking care of plants. I seriously can’t wait to enjoy some fresh basil.Or how Mr. Hercules and I had some fun time the other day. Allan wasn’t home, so it was just me and him. I think it’s just hilarious how he is intrigued when he looks at himself in the camera.I went to the supermarket today and picked up a few things. I pretty much have food to last me about 2 and 1/2 weeks, though it may not seem it. Don’t be thrown off by the lack of greens. I do have spinach and broccoli left in the fridge. I also found something new, but you will just have to wait to find out what it is.I know I keep mentioning it, but I really need to do some new recipes. The last one I did was the Milk & Cookies Ice Cream and that was in April! I give up with the oat cake for now (sorry) but I’m thinking some granola might be in order.
I saw Chelsea’s blueberry granola and immediately started craving some. I’m feeling coconut may enter this one. Toasted? Oh yes. Or maybe cranberries? I’ve been in the mood for those lately too.
Question: Are there any yummy cravings that have your mouth watering?
I always have a craving for chocolate mousse. Gosh, just look at today’s dessert. Who can resist!
