Happy October!
Please do pardon my absence for the past week. I have an exam tomorrow, so I have been devoting my time to studying. In the mean time, there is no meal planning for this Monday but on Wednesday I will be uploading a YouTube video with a grocery haul. You’ll be able to see what my current eats look like and some new products I will be reviewing in the near future.
Which brings me to my next subject. Since there was no Fun Finds Friday last week, I am going to review a few of the new products that I bought. I went to Fairway Supermarket which strongly caters to all of my food allergies. I was able to get some amazing things, so stay tuned for that video.
The first product I have for you is a three cheese pizza shell by Against the Grain Gourmet. They have tons of delicious products but only this pizza shell was available at Fairway.
I made a spinach, mozzarella and asiago pizza, drizzle with olive oil and sprinkled with garlic powder and Italian seasonings. The results? So yummy and it only took 12 minutes to cook in the oven! Definitely a plus from mixing your own pizza dough. Saves time and is as equally delicious.
The next thing I have for you in gluten-free brownies by French Meadow Bakery. These puppies are already baked and come in nine individual servings sizes. Just remove from freezer, thaw (or microwave) and eat!
I topped one with some vanilla ice cream, maple syrup drizzle and cinnamon. Such a delicious fall treat and satisfied my raging sweet tooth. The only con is that is a bit on the small side, but at least it’s heavenly!
Lastly, I have a gluten-free (and peanut free) dark chocolate trail mix bar by NuGo Free. They are also dairy and soy free too. I have tried this bar ages ago and when I saw it, I couldn’t resist. It’s very delicious and it reminds me of the thinkThin dipped nuts bar, which I can’t have due to the peanuts.
I would buy all the products again without hesitation. Maybe I will find Against The Grain Gourmet’s bagels and try French Meadow Farms chocolate chip cookies next time. Mmmm, cookies!
