I love Salem to pieces. Many of ya’ll know that.
I love the goodies I find. Like a cafe au lait chocolate from Maria’s Sweet Somethings.
Or some pumpkin pie soda from Pamplemousse.
Or grabbing some K-Cups from Wicked Cup.
Or just some good ole New England Coffee.
And close, by not so, in Peabody there is a Brazilian restaurant called Heaven’s Taste. I love, love, love Brazilian Food. I could live off of it. True Story.
I have a lot of new things that are about to happen, but I can’t share them just yet. Let’s just say it’s going to be awesome. I off to study and I hope ya’ll have a fabulous Monday!
Question: What little goodies do you look for in your favorite or a new town? Ice cream, chocolate and post cards are always at the top of my list. Yes, post cards.

It’s Friday! Where did this week go?
Oh yeah… I’ve been all over the North. From Upstate New York to Vermont. It was quite a nice adventure. I’m a true New Englander at heart and being in New York City now isn’t going to change that. I started yesterday morning with some oats, raisins, milk and a chopped up pear.
Not to mention some deliciously awesome french toast Green Mountain coffee. I may or may not have had something better then Green Mountain coffee; Toffee Nut latte from Starbucks. I think we are going to have a major problem, it’s latte-gasmic.
After breakfast, we walked around my alma mater and we passed by the class gift of 2007. A fish tank. Don’t ask. But isn’t this sea urchin cool?
I met up with one of my old friends and I was given this delicious gift! Pure Vermont maple syrup. I’m a sucker for anything with maple.
Speaking of maple, I had some maple soda with my lunch from the Healthy Living Market in Vermont. It didn’t taste like maple but it was pretty good.
The night before we went to Vermont Pub and Brewery. I had their Angus burger with smoked cheddar, fries and lettuce. Nothing but good, simple and delicious.
My mom may or may not have had some fun with trying out some beers. I tried their Raspberry stout, but I didn’t really like it. I’ll stick to my raspberry lambic thank you.
After dinner (that’s when I got coffee too), my mom wanted some Ben & Jerry’s. Most of their flavors have corn and my favorites have wheat. So I opted to watch her enjoy it, ha. It’s okay, the coffee sufficed.
But last night I had a gluten-free cupcake from the Healthy living market.. pretty good! Now I am back in New York, missing my New England! This was my “exhausted beyond belief look” of last night.
Question: What’s everyone up to for this weekend? Got a favorite place that you’d love to live it? After my life is a bit more settled, New England is definitely on my top list.

Happy WIAW
I’ve been in five different states in the past few days. It’s been an awesome little adventure with my mom. This WIAW, is all the random eats from my little adventure and some from home as well. Got to start somewhere right? And please check out Peas and Crayons aka the home of WIAW!
Before we hit the road one of the days, breakfast was these oats, but I topped it with pecans and pure maple syrup. Somewhere are the raisins. Ya just have to look very closely.
One of my go to snacks on the road was almonds and string cheese. Quick and simple. One of the lunches I had was Ponderosa and I had chicken, mash potatoes, and salad.
Of course, some froyo action. A mix of coffee, chocolate, vanilla and butter pecan froyo with agave drizzle, roasted almonds and kiwi.
My favorite meal though was this Brazilian deliciousness; rice, beans, bean stuffing (made with tapioca flour), plantains, green beans and salad. So, so good!
For dessert, I failed to take a picture of the chocolate. But it was chocolate, that’s all you need to know. A few Godiva truffles made their way into my tummy. Now.. on my way to Vermont!
Question: What’s green from your WIAW? I’m impressed that mines is green. I did good… for once!

Sunday = Active, Active, Active! I decided to do another Stage Fort Park trip.
Instead of a jog, I did a little walking. Before I came here I actually went to the gym for an hour after the hike I went to do yoga too. Why don’t we let the pictures speak for themselves, shall we?

Before going to the Emergency Room with my mom, I had a delicious waffle made from a buckwheat flour mix, which you will see this flour for this fun finds Friday, so stay tuned.
I had a lot of pain on the left side of my body under my ribs, It was not fun and it’s been going on for a couple of weeks. Hopefully I can figure out what’s wrong soon; I had numerous tests done.
My family. They are a little crazy, a little corky. But they are my family. I had a lot of fun with them. We went to see the tree down at Rockefeller Center in the city. Elmo and cookie monster?
My parents are just too cute.
Aww, look at me and my little brother. It’s crazy to think he’s going to be 19 next year. Almost 20! Gee, it just makes me feel old sometimes.
They always have this display that lights up, I honestly don’t remember where or what it is. It’s near the tree. A few years ago, they had a snowflake display which was cute. This year it was computer graphics with a cute yeti and ice skaters.
Question: How are you spending your Christmas Eve, if you celebrate it? I hope everyone enjoys the holidays and enjoys time with their loved ones!
